Update regarding the Covid-19 Coronavirus pandemic

We hope that you are safe and well during this extremely difficult time.

stf is currently responding to government advice regarding the Coronavirus pandemic. The well-being of our audiences, acting company and freelancers is our highest priority.

During this time we continue to devise and offer exciting educational activities online. Virtual workshop sessions are available for individuals, schools, universities and colleges online, led by our Workshop Director Chris Donnelly.

Please see our Workshops Page here for further information and how to make contact with us.

However, we have carefully followed government guidelines and as a result we are unable to continue fully operational for the next few months. It is with great sadness that we have had to cancel our exciting touring plans for autumn 2020. This is a major blow, particularly as we were on the verge of announcing our season immediately before theatre closures and government lock-down measures were announced.

stf is an independent theatre company and charity – now in its 21st year – that relies on income from box office sales, as well as support from its membership schemes, trusts and grants and sponsorship each year to survive. We are working hard to ensure that we can continue to offer our large-cast, professional productions, which offer rare opportunities to scores of actors, many recent graduates, freelancers and creatives.
